Casual reminder that this was an Actual Thing that actually aired on Cartoon Network.

I don’t see why everyone is getting so hyped up about this clip. Regular Show outright swears, there have been nude scenes in Total Drama, and much, much worse things than a girl shaking her booty on a rated-PG show in an attempt to seduce a boy. Alas, she fails, essentially teaching kids that exploitation is bad, as is seducing robots. But then she falls in love with him for real, after his encouragement and stating that she does not have to heed to the status quo! She can be who she wants to be, not just a dumb cheerleader!

Not to mention, TV shows evolve with modern culture. Society is different, people! Little girls wear bikinis! Boys get horny at 7!

But that’s just me~ \rant over

I cannot say anything more. What’s wrong with this scene? Sure, a little sensual but I’ve seen worse in other PG shows on CN. Grow up and get educated. This show was created by Genndy Tartakovsky. So stop saying how you long for the older, ‘better’ days. You either like cartoons wholeheartedly or you don’t. Only liking the older stuff from your generation makes you look like a fool and simply close-minded. Sym-Bionic Titan is a great show with family values and if you’re going to take one scene out of context like that then you really need to re-examine how children shows are approached nowadays. 

Through The Ghost -Shinedown

Two minutes from now it’ll be my ex’s birthday. I love him and he deserves to be happy, but given his circumstances, it’s hard. I want him to see that he was happy with me and pushing me away isn’t helping anyone. Welp. Looks like “If You Only Knew” -Shinedown is going to be on repeat.

It’s amazing when you get the feeling that someone really is watching over you. Lately, I’ve been doing a lot of discovering of myself and who I’m meant to be in this world. Well, when my grandfather died, we had to clean out their entire house. It was heart-breaking once I realized I had lost my most treasure grandparents. When someone’s gone you begin to see all that they have left you with. They were the ones who inspired me to write day-in-day-out. I got a lot of books from when we were cleaning out the old house. One was titled, “Where Angels Walk” and it was obviously my grandmother’s. It was a book filled with true stories on Heavenly encounters. When I got it, I’m sure I flipped through it without reading a word, then stacked it on top of the rest of my books. Today, I went to my pile of books to search for my how-to guitar instructionals. There, a bookmark lay thrown on the floor. I picked it up and grabbed the first book I saw, planning on placing it in there. The book was none other than the one I mentioned before. However, when I opened it there was an envelope written “Peanut” on it, which -as odd as it may seem- was my grandmother’s nickname from my grandpa. Hours passed until I finally read it. It was an old-fashioned love letter from ‘02 that was written for no reason at all but only to thank her for being his wife. Somehow, I feel as if this letter is going to keep me searching for who I am and how my writings can be used one day. Maybe another day, I’ll find the on whom my soul loves. <3

Today’s behind-the-scenes goodie is a storyboard from “Fun on a Bun” that features Zapp has a sausage judge. I know what you’re thinking, and “sausage judge” was not Supreme Court Justice Oliver Wendell Holmes’s nickname for himself. I don’t even know where you got that idea from.

Futurama’s one-hour season premiere airs Wednesday at 10/9c.
